Very diversified services have been delivered by JGP on more than 35 port projects in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Peru, Paraguay, Surinam, Uruguay, Barbados, Portugal, Angola and Cape Verde. This has included both maritime and fluvial ports.
Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) have been developed on 14 port projects (Brazil, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal and Cape Verde). A Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) was conducted on a large port and new town development project in Angola. E&S due diligence and/or monitoring for Lenders includes projects in Brazil, Peru, Uruguay and Colombia.
Integrated E&S Management Systems were developed for the ports of Bridgetown (Barbados) and Kulpdingsingh (Surinam) to meet Lender requirements. Marine biodiversity monitoring programs were implemented in Brazil and Peru.
