JGP’s experience with wind energy includes projects in Brazil, Peru, Dominican Republic and Uruguay. Services rendered have included Environmental and Social Impact Assessments and management of permitting procedures, design and implementation of environmental and social management plans (see Casa dos Ventos’ ESMS) and other specialized environmental modeling studies, including noise impact assessments and simulation studies, shadow-flicker impact modeling and bird collision modeling.
On many projects we have acted as Lender E&S consultants during due diligence and subsequent project monitoring. Over 50 onshore wind project mandates have been concluded totaling 10,000 MW of installed capacity.
