Lima´s 2nd Metro Line, including the Faucett/Gambetta avenues connection, will have 35 stations along a 36 Km. reach. Project CAPEX = US$ 6.3 billion.

During the initial 8 years of construction, JGP was the Independent Environmental and Social Consultant on behalf of Lenders responsible for monitoring compliance with the environmental and social requirements in the concession contract and the Loan Agreement (i.e. the Environmental and Social Action Plan – ESAP). JGP´s scope also included review and approval of the concessionaire’s Environmental, Social and H&S Management System (ESHS-MS) for both construction and operation phases. 

Key aspects of the JGP´s scope included supervision of construction environmental and H&S management, community relations, resettlement plan implementation, expropriation procedures, grievance management, stakeholder engagement activities, noise and vibration monitoring, contamination liabilities, interference with cultural assets, among other aspects.
